About The Position

We are looking for a caring, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide quality care and companionship to a client in the Columbus, OH 43207 area. This is a great opportunity for a caregiver who takes pride in helping others, is dependable, and enjoys making a positive difference in a client’s daily life. The client may occasionally have verbal or emotional outbursts. These situations are non-physical. We are looking for someone who can remain calm, patient, and professional while providing consistent and supportive care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in home care, home health, or a related field.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living and personal care as assigned.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Following the client's individualized care plan.
• Communicating professionally with the client, family, and care team.
• Supporting the client with patience, dignity, and respect.
• Maintaining accurate and timely communication regarding the client's needs.
