About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides to provide care for adults in its Assistive Care State Programs practice. No prior experience is needed. The company provides a free 40-hour training program covering basic regulatory and compliance requirements and personal care skills. The role offers $16.50 per hour, with opportunities intended to be near caregivers’ homes. Requirements
- Successfully complete BAYADA’s 40-hour Home Health Aide training class.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide light housekeeping.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
- Assist with oral feeding.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
