About The Position
Right at Home Boston NW, located in Bedford MA, has been providing outstanding elderly care for over 19 years and is a leader in the home care industry. This role involves providing a variety of non-medical services to allow elderly clients to remain in their homes, helping them and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion. The position requires being awake and alert, even on overnight shifts, to assist clients.
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- Have reliable, consistent transportation
- Pass a full employment background check
- Communicate in English (written and verbal)
- HHA certificate preferred but experience counts!
Responsibilities
- Provide a variety of non-medical services that allow our elderly clients to stay in their homes.
- Help elderly clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion.
- Provide safety assistance with showering, personal care, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, dementia care, housekeeping, and companionship to our elderly.
- Prepare or assist with preparation of basic meals for your elderly client.
- Run errands, take your elderly client to appointments, and provide companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, games, cards etc.
- Be awake and alert even on overnight shifts to assist our elderly clients.
