About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide (HHA) to assist Elderly Clients. This role involves providing hands-on assistance with daily living activities, ensuring clients feel comfortable and cared for while maintaining their dignity. The position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work close to home.
Requirements
- Bilingual in both English and Arabic is crucial.
- HHA or CNA Certification required. If not, certified caregiver must complete company-provided HHA training and obtain certification.
- A strong sense of empathy, patience, and problem-solving ability.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, and other essential hygiene tasks.
- Promote mobility by encouraging adherence to prescribed exercise programs, including range of motion exercises and walking.
- Assist clients in transferring from bed to chair and ensure proper repositioning as per care plans, addressing pressure point care with integrity and safety.
- Prepare meals that meet specific dietary needs.
- Remind clients about their medications.
- Provide continence care.
- Perform housekeeping responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe environment, including laundry, trash removal, and grocery shopping.
