About The Position

Abernathy Home Care is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and Homemakers to serve clients in Concord and the surrounding communities. We offer flexible full-time and part-time schedules with local clients close to home. We provide bi-weekly pay, a supportive office team, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your community every day.

Requirements

• HHA or PCA certification required for HHA/PCA positions
• Reliable transportation required
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Medication reminders
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions
• Help clients remain safe and independent in their homes
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Meal planning and preparation
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Changing bed linens
• Organizing and maintaining a clean home
• Friendly companionship and conversation
