HHA /driver for Aventura area 3 mornings per week
About The Position
Seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant to assist an elderly client with transportation to medical appointments and personal errands in the Aventura area. The caregiver will use their own vehicle and provide companionship and courteous assistance during outings, including helping the client enter and exit the vehicle and navigate appointments. The caregiver must help ensure the client's comfort and safety during transportation and maintain a professional, patient, and respectful attitude. This is a part-time position on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Compensation is to be discussed based on experience.
Requirements
- Valid HHA certificate or CNA license.
- At least 1 year's experience caring for elderly patients.
- Clear, fluent spoken English and strong communication skills.
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Current auto insurance.
- Dependable, punctual, patient, and compassionate.
- Must be consistently available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Responsibilities
- Drive the client to medical appointments and personal errands using the caregiver's own vehicle.
- Provide companionship and courteous assistance during outings.
- Assist the client as needed with entering and exiting the vehicle and navigating appointments.
- Ensure the client's comfort and safety during transportation.
