Visiting Angels of Reading is currently looking for a Part Time Home Health Aide - HHA to work in and around Berks and Northern Chester County. We serve the local area including and many others. Part-time and full-time positions available. We have day, evening, and overnight shifts available. Our compassionate caregivers are the backbone of everything we do, and we think of them as family. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
MINIMUM of 6 months experience in caring for Seniors and/or Disabled Adults professionally or personally.
Reliable transportation is a MUST.
Reliability and Professionalism are very important.
MUST enjoy assisting in the needs of others.

Nice To Haves

Dementia/Alzheimer's experience a plus.
CNA a plus

Responsibilities

Assisting clients with personal care services such as oral care, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping including laundry, dishes and vacuuming
Planning, preparing and serving meals
Assistance with transfers, walking and physical activity
Assistance with transportation to appointments, activities, errands, and shopping
Providing companionship and cheerful, positive assistance at all times
