Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - PRN

As a fast-growing, leading provider, we proudly serve patients across Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. We are seeking reliable and compassionate Caregivers (CNAs/HHAs) to join our team in the Wentzville, MO area. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager. This PRN position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible work opportunities, including short-term patient assignments, call-off coverage, and supplemental hours.
Requirements
- Current CPR, First Aid, and 2-Step TB Test
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Prolonged standing and walking required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients.
- Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a clinical care setting, home health preferred.
Responsibilities
- Executes physician prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record.
- Administers prescribed treatments, and therapies.
- Performs patient assessments, coordination of care.
- Performs various activities associated with daily living, communications, and monitoring of vitals while working at the patient’s home.
- Will be working with patients in a comfortable environment where the service is one-on-one.
- Communicates with family members, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of patients.
- Performs other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs.
