About The Position

For over 15 years, Florry Creative Care Corporation has been dedicated to transforming lives with love and exceptional in-home care for seniors and individuals with disabilities in Plant City, FL. We strive to provide outstanding care that allows our clients to live life to the fullest in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing a variety of in-home care services, including personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and respite care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of documented experience as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
  • Successful completion of a Level II background check in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
  • Negative Tuberculosis (TB) test results.
  • Free from communicable diseases as verified by a medical professional.
  • Reliable transportation to reach client homes promptly and efficiently.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus (please specify languages).
  • A genuine passion for caring for others with compassion, empathy, and respect.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Provide light housekeeping duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, laundry, changing bed linens, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, such as engaging in conversation, playing games, and assisting with hobbies.
  • Provide a combination of personal care, homemaking, and companionship services to give primary caregivers a much-needed break.
  • Monitor clients' condition and report any changes to the care team.
  • Ensure the client's home is safe and free from hazards.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
