About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring Home Health Aide (HHA) and Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) caregivers in Agawam, Belchertown, Brimfield, Chicopee, East Longmeadow, Granby, Hampden, Holland, Holyoke, Longmeadow, Ludlow, Monson, Palmer, South Hadley, Springfield, Wales, Ware, Warren, West Springfield, and Wilbraham. The role offers flexible scheduling, with caregivers able to choose their hours. HHA training and certification are provided at no cost to those without certification. Caregivers support clients at home by assisting with personal care and daily activities, offering companionship, helping maintain a safe and clean home, preparing meals, running errands, and providing medication reminders. They monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions and respond responsibly to emergencies. The advertised pay is $19–$22 per hour, varying by experience and location. Requirements

Have a personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Nice To Haves

HHA or CNA certification; certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including hygiene, dressing, and meals.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Help with light housekeeping to maintain clean, safe homes.
Run errands such as grocery shopping.
Prepare meals, incorporating client input when possible.
Give medication reminders.
Perform routine cleaning, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and bathroom cleaning.
Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
