About The Position
Silver Lining Home Healthcare is growing and hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care in the Felton, Harrington, and surrounding areas. This role involves providing one-on-one personal care and companionship in various settings, including clients' homes, hospitals, nursing homes, or rehab centers. Care plans are tailored to individual client needs, ranging from post-hospitalization transitions to daily companionship.
Requirements
- Current CNA or HHA certification, or completion of a DE CNA program
- Open availability, including weekends
- Physical exam and 2-step PPD/TSpot/FingerPrinting
- Able to lift, position, transfer, and operate a Hoyer lift
- Compassionate, respectful, and committed to excellent care
Responsibilities
- Provide care according to each client's Plan of Care
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Operate a Hoyer lift
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Follow infection control procedures
- Protect client privacy and confidential information
