Part Time Home Health Aid - HHA
About The Position
Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aid (HHA) to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The listed shifts are 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday or Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. The role involves supporting residents with activities of daily living, documenting care, reporting changes in health or behavior, engaging residents in meaningful activities, and providing emotional support and exceptional service. Requirements
- A valid HHA license is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
- Use customer service skills to provide residents with exceptional and meaningful care.
- Perform other duties as needed.
