About The Position

The Account Executive is responsible for coordinating and performing marketing duties to communicate the role of the Agency to the community, including physicians, physician groups, community associations, senior groups, ethnic clubs, and churches. This role involves completing clerical tasks, ensuring referral intake forms are completed for each patient/client, and mentoring branch directors and employees on best practices for communicating the organization's mission. The position emphasizes treating others with respect and professionalism, following agency management supervision, answering questions about services, and coordinating home health care services. A key aspect is accurately completing referral forms with client history and physician orders, attending meetings, and providing a weekly marketing schedule. Maintaining good working relationships with staff and promoting the agency through positive representation are crucial.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. (Preferred).
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Skills in typing and organizational abilities.
  • Able to work independently, demonstrating good judgment.
  • Must be accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Practices good customer service skills in all working relationships.
  • Desire and ability to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, respectful, and courteous nature.
  • Absence of criminal background.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and performs marketing duties to communicate the Agency's role to the community (physicians, physician groups, community associations, senior groups, ethnic clubs, churches).
  • Completes clerical tasks and ensures referral intake forms are completed for each patient/client.
  • Mentors branch directors and employees on best practices for communication of the organization's mission.
  • Answers questions from referring sources and potential clients regarding the home health agency's scope of services.
  • Follows up on each referral to ensure proper coordination of home health care services.
  • Completes referral forms accurately with client history and provides initial physician orders.
  • Attends appropriate management/office meetings.
  • Provides supervisor with a weekly schedule of marketing tasks.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with all office/field staff.
  • Communicates potential risk management issues and reports abuse or unsafe/illegal practices as required by law.
  • Participates in marketing efforts and community relations activities as assigned or directed by Agency Management.
  • Promotes the agency through positive representation and communication of its services.
  • Communicates effectively with all team members and agency management.
  • Recommends new policies and/or changes in current policies to improve quality of patient services, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Follows all infection control and OSHA standards and all state and federal regulations.
  • Is punctual and reports to work as scheduled.
  • Is flexible and works cooperatively for agency needs.
  • Understands and applies the concepts of continuous quality improvement to all work practices.
  • Is knowledgeable of the agency's QI goals and participates as directed.
