About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining various display areas within the home hardlines department, including check stand ends, power panels, outriggers, crossover merchandise, clip/swing displays, and gift card displays. The position also involves providing customer service and upholding the company's core values. Key duties include ordering merchandise, stocking displays according to schematics, managing Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) and Replenishment Management System (RMS) requests, and coordinating with other order clerks to establish minimums for impulse items. The role also requires adherence to stockroom maintenance, divisional signing, recovery, shrink control, merchandising, ticketing, planogram, and composite standards. Additional responsibilities include receiving and processing freight, performing inventory control functions, verifying promotions, conducting stock counts, maintaining accurate On Hands data, processing product deletions, ensuring pricing integrity, and complying with corporate policies and initiatives. The position also requires maintaining awareness of stock conditions, responding to customer feedback, and ensuring compliance with Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) and planogram standards.

Requirements

Minimum High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of six months company experience and one-two years related retail experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Ability to pass drug test.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work weekends/graveyard shifts on an occasional basis, early shifts, and overtime as needed.
Maintain confidentiality.
Accuracy/attention to detail.
Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects.
Ability to perform applications in MAGIC and Handheld.
Proficient with current Company email.
Familiarity with industry/technical terms/processes.
Ability to work within set time frames/fixed deadlines.
Lift truck certification/license.

Responsibilities

Maintain the check stand ends, power panel (wing), outrigger, crossover merchandise, clip/swing (strip) displays, and gift card displays for the location and provide customer service.
Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
Order merchandise and maintain/stock all clips/swing (strips), power panels and check stand ends, crossovers and gift cards per schematic.
Verify Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) orders are complete.
Perform Replenishment Management System (RMS) requests.
Coordinate with HBA and GRO Order Clerk to establish Minimums in Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) for Impulse Items.
Comply with stockroom maintenance standards.
Order and maintain displays for cross-over merchandise.
Order off-shelf merchandise.
Maintain compliance with divisional signing, recovery, shrink control guidelines, merchandising standards, ticketing standards, planograms, and composites.
Receive and process freight.
Perform inventory control functions.
Verify promotions are set to standard.
Conduct stock counts.
Maintain accurate On Hands for Replenishment and Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) items.
Process product deletions.
Verify accuracy in pricing integrity.
Comply with corporate policies.
Promote and follow Company initiatives.
Maintain awareness of overstock/understock conditions to maintain ordering system integrity.
Respond to verbal customer comments/complaints.
Maintain compliance of Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) standards.
Verify all planograms are completed on time.
