We are seeking experienced Home Equity Processors to join a growing lending team. Requirements

1-2+ years of full-cycle mortgage processing or home equity processing experience
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues and shared goals
Comfortable working in a manual processing environment
Ability to work onsite in Troy, MI for the duration of the assignment

Nice To Haves

Experience in direct or indirect lending
Banking or credit union experience
Experience with Encompass or Symitar systems

Responsibilities

Manage a pipeline of approximately 25-30 home equity loan files once fully trained
Process home equity loans from application through closing
Review income documentation, including pay stubs and supporting financial records
Order appraisals and flood certifications as needed
Gather payoff information and verify mortgagee clauses
Prepare complete loan files for underwriting review
Coordinate and arrange loan closings
Maintain regular communication with members throughout the loan process
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of all loan documentation
