About The Position
This role involves assisting pharmacists with distributive services and technical support within the Home Delivery Pharmacy Services department at Ascension Rx Home Home Delivery in Austin, Texas. The technician will be responsible for maintaining and refilling automated dispensing systems, managing pharmacy department inventory, preparing orders, and repackaging bulk medications. Additionally, the role includes receiving and storing supplies and serving as a liaison between patients, healthcare professionals, and the pharmacy.
Requirements
- TX Registered Pharmacist Technician Registration
- 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician Experience
- Home Delivery experience
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Must possess all state and local qualifications.
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
