About The Position

As a Home Delivery Driver for Mom’s Meals, you will help ensure customers receive their meals for the upcoming week. You will load and unload prepacked meal boxes from designated cold storage and deliver them to customers’ homes, sometimes taking the meals inside. Prompt delivery and excellent customer service are important to representing the company’s Core Values. The schedule is a four-day work week, Tuesday through Friday. Pay is $18 per hour, with a monthly bonus opportunity. The work address is 139 Means Drive, Nicholasville, KY 40356. Employment is contingent on passing a post-offer drug screen and background check, where permitted by law, as well as a post-offer MVR lookup. Mom’s Meals is a home-delivered meal service that has provided fully prepared, refrigerated meals directly to homes nationwide since 1999. Its meal solutions serve seniors, patients recovering after discharge, and people managing chronic conditions. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Have a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving (DMV) record.
Have good communication skills and be able to speak, read, and write English.
Be able to sufficiently operate a smartphone.
Be familiar and comfortable with using and following GPS routing.
Have basic math skills.
Be able to drive in various weather and traffic conditions and work in variable weather conditions.
Have prior experience adhering to company policies and demonstrating core values.
Pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.
Pass a post-offer MVR lookup.

Nice To Haves

Previous delivery-driving experience in a customer-facing environment.
Experience completing high-volume delivery routes in residential areas.
Strong customer service experience, including communicating professionally and courteously with customers in their homes.
Experience working independently while meeting productivity and on-time delivery expectations.
Experience in roles involving frequent driving, time management, and direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a company vehicle and obey traffic laws.
Load meals into the company vehicle at the designated cold storage facility.
Deliver meals to clients, often taking meals into their homes.
Call clients when delivery issues arise or when necessary for the region.
Accurately and consistently record deliveries using the MMHD delivery application.
Follow food-related sanitation and food safety procedures consistently.
Provide excellent customer service to clients.
Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment so it remains safe to operate.
Immediately report equipment failures and vehicle damage to a supervisor so repairs can be scheduled.
Assist with vehicle and driver audits.
Ensure deliveries comply with established protocols.
