About The Position

Central Alberta Co-op is seeking a Temporary Home Centre File Maintenance Clerk to join their team at the Innisfail Home Centre. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy supporting operations and ensuring accuracy. The position is a temporary contract for approximately six months, requiring availability on weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma required. Candidates should have some college or university education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
  • Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
  • Must provide Social Insurance Number before their first shift.

Responsibilities

  • Work with inventory counters and department managers on inventory verification process
  • Familiarize yourself with our product range
  • Stay updated on new product details to ensure comprehensive product knowledge
  • Match purchase orders with receiving and check for accuracy and train all staff on usage of TRC
  • Manage time efficiently to complete all special orders and quotes
  • Replenish shelves and order supplies on a continual basis
  • Assist in merchandise displays
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
