About The Position

This is a part-time position with up to full-time hours available depending on flexibility, availability, and demand. Visiting Angels of York offers flexible scheduling for caregivers, allowing them to choose from days or evening shifts. The role involves providing one-on-one care to clients in their homes, assisting with various non-medical needs. The company serves clients in York, Dover, Shrewsbury, and Wrightsville, PA, and the surrounding areas of York County.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old to apply
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• CNA license preferred, but not required
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance

Nice To Haves

• CNA license preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, getting dressed, toileting, and incontinence care
• Help with light housekeeping and other quiet household tasks
• Perform transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance as needed
• Monitor the client to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the night
• Provide all other non-medical assistance as assigned
