About The Position

Kore Cares is hiring part-time evening caregivers in Sioux Falls, SD. You tell us the days and evening hours you are available, and we work to match you with clients who need care during those times. No caregiving experience or CNA certification? That's okay — we provide training! If you are already a CNA or healthcare worker but are looking for a more personal, one-on-one care environment, we would also love to talk with you. As a Kore Cares caregiver, you'll help individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in the place they call home. Home care gives you the opportunity to build relationships and provide one-on-one care rather than caring for many people at once. Your work helps older adults and individuals with disabilities continue living safely and independently at home.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes in the Sioux Falls area
• Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid Vehicle Insurance

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CNA certification
• Previous healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other personal care
• Assist clients with walking, mobility, and transfers
• Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide transportation and assist with errands
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Complete other tasks identified in the client's individualized care plan
