Home Caregiver
About The Position
Village Caregiving is seeking a caregiver in Franklin, Tennessee, to provide direct patient care in patients’ homes and help ensure a safe and comfortable environment. This individual-contributor role calls for a compassionate, responsible, and dedicated person. The position may be part-time or full-time. Available shifts are 7 a.m.–12 p.m. and 4 p.m.–9 p.m., Monday through Friday; weekend and holiday availability is required as needed. Pay is $17–$19 per hour. Paid training, including CPR certification, and ongoing training as needed are provided. Benefits are available to full-time employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting; in-home care experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must pass a background check.

- Previous in-home care experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Help residents with mobility by transferring and positioning them safely.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of residents’ care and daily activities.
- Assist with feeding residents and providing hydration.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare team members.
