About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring reliable caregivers to provide personalized support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. The work offers an opportunity to make a positive impact, with duties tailored to each client's needs. Day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts may be available.
Requirements
- Compassionate and caring attitude.
- Reliability and professionalism.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable vehicle and active automobile insurance.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Smartphone for clock-in/out and documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with seniors or adults with disabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CNA/LNA experience or certification.
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience.
Responsibilities
- Keep clients company and provide conversation.
- Help with personal care.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Shop for groceries and run errands.
- Transport clients to appointments.
- Support daily routines and activities.
