Home Care Transportation & Companion CNA (Part-Time)
About The Position
Home Care from Well-Spring Solutions is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) age 25 or older to provide transportation assistance and companion care for older adults throughout Greensboro and the surrounding community. This position is ideal for CNAs who enjoy building relationships, helping clients maintain their independence, and spending meaningful one-on-one time with those they serve. Many shifts involve transporting clients to appointments, errands, shopping trips, social outings, and activities while also providing companionship and light assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in good standing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
- Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers when needed
Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, errands, social activities, and community events
- Escort clients into appointments and assist with mobility as needed
- Provide companionship and social engagement
- Assist with meal pick-up, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Support clients with daily routines and activities
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Complete documentation according to agency standards
- Provide occasional assistance with personal care based on client needs and CNA scope of practice
