Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in home health care is a plus.
- Previous experience in home care or caregiving preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in home health care is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or family members.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or social events.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
