About The Position

Valle Verde is seeking a Home Care Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day delivery of quality in-home care services. In this role, you will support and supervise Home Care Aides, coordinate services to meet client needs, and build trusted relationships with residents, families, and team members. This position contributes to the success of HumanGood by ensuring seniors receive reliable, high-quality services in their homes. This position oversees the daily operations of assigned home care services, including caregiver recruitment and supervision, scheduling, client service, billing support, payroll, team member relations, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least two years of professional administrative or clerical experience in an office setting.
  • At least three years of professional management or supervisory experience in a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • One year of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Experience coordinating caregivers, home care services, or senior care is a plus.
  • CNA or caregiver certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and support Home Care Aides.
  • Develop caregiver schedules that effectively match team member availability with client needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with caregivers regarding schedules, client needs, and changes in service.
  • Listen to, resolve, and document caregiver concerns or changes that may affect service delivery.
  • Monitor caregiver training, certifications, and other applicable requirements.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities as needed.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, residents, families, caregivers, community team members, and the HumanGood Home Office.
  • Manage initial client inquiries and coordinate client assessments.
  • Respond to resident and client needs promptly, appropriately, and respectfully.
  • Oversee quality assurance visits and follow up on concerns or changes in client needs.
  • Help ensure resident rights, confidentiality, privacy, and individual preferences are respected.
  • Foster positive communication and relationships among residents, families, clients, caregivers, and community staff.
  • Complete the weekly census of home care hours and maintain accurate service records.
  • Review client invoices and calculate billing charges.
  • Confirm schedules with clients, caregivers, and community partners.
  • Support payroll, budgeting, and other administrative functions for the department.
  • Use time, resources, supplies, and department funds effectively.
  • Monitor caregiver compliance with applicable training and certification requirements.
  • Complete incident reports and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Report security, health, and safety concerns to the appropriate leadership team.
  • Follow established HumanGood policies and procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain client and resident confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, HumanGood standards, and applicable regulations.
