About The Position

Addus HomeCare is seeking a dynamic, organized, and compassionate Service Coordinator to join their care team in Chattanooga, TN. This role is crucial for ensuring clients receive the care they deserve while supporting caregivers. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving vulnerable populations, building relationships, and leading with both heart and hustle. This is a full-time, in-office position with participation in an on-call rotation required.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for serving elderly and disabled populations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of industry experience
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software
  • Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules with precision and care
  • Ensure uninterrupted service by proactively filling shifts and addressing client needs
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support when needed
  • Conduct monthly wellness calls and in-home visits to maintain quality care
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client updates, service changes, and concerns
  • Supervise, coach, and motivate direct service employees
  • Foster a positive, professional, and welcoming office environment
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and Medicaid/Medicare regulations
