About The Position

Join A-Plus/Addus HomeCare as a driven, organized, and compassionate Service Coordinator to lead the charge in scheduling caregivers, ensuring top-quality service, and conducting in-home visits. You will be the go-to problem solver, juggling schedules, supporting field staff, handling client updates, and stepping in to keep care plans on track. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves making a difference. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with a 1-hour lunch. The location is A-Plus HealthCare/Addus, 916 13th Ave S, Great Falls, MT 59405-4406. This role is responsible for scheduling and supervising in-home care workers and clients in a geographic area. It offers the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped older people and people with disabilities live safely at home. The company will train the right candidate.

Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Boots on the ground recruiting and covering shifts in the field as needed.
  • Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Scheduling program.
  • Must have reliable transportation (Driver's License, Auto Insurance, Vehicle).

Responsibilities

  • Schedules employees as directed by client's care plan established upon intake.
  • Processes patient authorizations and communicate with central admissions, enter reauthorizations into client record and ensure chart preparation for all new clients.
  • Creates work schedules by entering schedules into the system, manages changes to client schedules due to client request, illness, vacation or leaves of absence.
  • Provides alternate coverage to ensure the client's care plan is followed and client services are not interrupted.
  • Able to cover a critical client who does not have a backup in place when an aide is unavailable.
  • Supervises direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the company's policies and guidelines.
  • Assists with the new hire process for all new employees and ensures all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
