About The Position
Elite Home Care is a growing non-medical home care company dedicated to supporting children, young adults and seniors with disabilities so they can remain independent in the comfort of their own homes. Our team is passionate about making a difference every day—and we’re looking for someone who shares that passion. As a Scheduler, you’ll be the key link between clients, caregivers, and our office team. This role is fast-paced and rewarding, requiring strong communication skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail. You’ll make sure schedules run smoothly, caregivers are supported, and clients receive the quality care they deserve.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Must be adaptable in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with adults in acute care, residential, or long-term care settings.
- Experience supporting older adults with Alzheimer’s Disease or Dementia.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones promptly and professionally, assisting clients and caregivers with scheduling needs.
- Build and maintain client schedules, ensuring all shifts are covered.
- Fill open shifts quickly and communicate assignments to clients, caregivers, and responsible parties.
- Monitor missed or late shifts, follow up with caregivers, and keep clients informed.
- Send detailed shift reports to the care team.
- Step in during call-outs to find coverage and keep services consistent.
- Work closely with the operations team to anticipate staffing needs.
