About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a Registered Nurse for private duty home care in Stillwater, Minnesota. Nurses provide one-to-one care to a single local client for a full shift, with common shift lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours. Clients may have diagnoses or care needs related to traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, COPD, stroke, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, premature birth, cancer, or surgery recovery. Nurses with hospital, long-term care, and school experience may have transferable skills for providing care in the home. BAYADA describes itself as a nonprofit organization with 50 years of service and offers nurses managerial support, flexible scheduling, and weekly pay. The role may be full-time, part-time, or PRN, with no minimum scheduling requirements.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one skilled nursing care to a client in the client’s home for a full shift.
Support clients with needs that may include traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, COPD, stroke, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, premature birth, cancer, or surgery recovery.
