We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for a sweet 81-year-old male client with Parkinson’s in Taylorsville, UT. Requirements
- Current unrestricted RN license in Utah
- Current CPR Certification
- Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
Responsibilities
- Provide thoughtful care based on an individualized Plan of Care
- Conduct in-home assessments
- Monitor and track changes in the client’s condition and needs while keeping the Director of Nursing and appropriate personnel informed
- Communicate proactively regarding care concerns and updates
- Syringe changes
- Carbidopa/Levodopa pump management
- Excellent communication with the Nurse Case Manager and caregivers/aides working with the client
