About The Position

Overture Home Care is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse in the Dallas area to provide care to seniors. The company specializes in Alzheimer's/Dementia care, hospice, and general geriatric care. The RN will be a vital member of the healthcare team, playing a crucial role in providing top-notch care to seniors with diverse needs. Requirements

• Must have a full, active license as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of two years related work experience in a geriatric healthcare setting required.
• Flexibility as needed when it comes to assessments and scheduling trainings.
• Works fulltime at least 40 hours a week or more.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Demonstrates initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility.
• Clinical skills: documentation of care, medication administration, infection control precautions, assessing patient educational needs, physical assessment, obtaining vital signs, care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic nursing procedures, including administration of medications and fluids, and all other nursing procedures applicable to the area of assignment and/or type of patients to which assignment is accepted.
• Training caregiving staff on RN delegated care needed.
• Assess the patient's needs, develop, and implement an effective individualized plan of care/plan of treatment.
• Observe, report and document any change in patient's condition, giving significant observations, nursing intervention and action following nursing procedure.
• Complete required reports and client assessments as directed.
