About The Position

OCES is growing and expanding its services to 11 more towns on the South Shore, including Quincy, Braintree, and Weymouth. OCES is dedicated to supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing essential information and coordinating services to promote healthy, safe living, enabling them to remain active and engaged in their communities. The Home Care Program Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating Home Care Program operations and supervising assigned care management staff.

Requirements

  • Passion for helping others and desire to make a difference
  • Adaptability to changing needs of consumers or programs
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the human services field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Nice To Haves

  • ASAP experience preferred
  • Experience in organization, administration, and supervision

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and direction to assigned staff
  • Oversee all care management aspects of the Home Care program
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures, standards, and guidelines for program/department operations
  • Ensure program integrity and regulatory compliance
  • Implement quality measures and conduct quality reviews to ensure they are met
  • Participate in planning and execution of comprehensive staff development and training programs
  • Participate in program analysis and evaluation, including determination of service needs/gaps and the quality and effectiveness of services delivered
  • Advise and consult with other Home Care management staff from various disciplines on a regular basis
  • Represent OCES at external meetings and participate in public outreach/education activities and events as directed
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of current OCES policies, standards, and funding source regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation
