About The Position

OCES is growing and expanding to 11 more towns covering the south shore area. OCES supports older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services. By promoting healthy, safe living for our consumers, we hope to allow them to stay active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities for as long as possible. Our mission is to support the independence and dignity of older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing essential information and services that promote healthy, safe living which positively impacts our community. We are seeking a Home Care (Program Assistant) who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Home Care Department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide telephone coverage from Home Care staff as required
  • Review and correct data through consumer record system
  • Providing accurate reports as required by the department
  • Assist staff in tracking waivers and recipient choice forms as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
