About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking an experienced Part-Time Home Care Education RN to lead the education and ongoing development of our Home Health Aides (HHAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), Homemakers, and caregivers. This role is ideal for a nursing professional looking for a rewarding opportunity that combines clinical expertise with education and leadership.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Home care, home health, hospice, or community nursing experience preferred
- Experience teaching, precepting, mentoring, or training healthcare staff is highly desirable
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Excellent presentation and organizational abilities
- Comfortable demonstrating hands-on caregiving techniques
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to training locations and client homes when necessary
Responsibilities
- Teaching Home Health Aide (HHA) certification classes and skills labs
- Providing ongoing in-service education and competency training
- Performing caregiver skills evaluations and annual competency assessments
- Coaching caregivers on best practices in home care
- Supervising caregivers in the field as needed
- Assisting with quality assurance and clinical compliance
- Maintaining education records and documentation
- Collaborating with clinical and recruiting teams to ensure caregiver success
- Promoting exceptional client care through education and mentorship
