About The Position

BlueDot Cares is launching in Chapel Hill and Durham and is seeking an operational leader for its home care business. The Home Care Director will be responsible for the entire caregiver lifecycle, including hiring, training, scheduling, quality assurance, and family communication. This role also involves driving growth for the GUIDE Dementia Program by engaging with memory care communities and neurology practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in home care operations, healthcare management, or a related clinical/social services role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage caregivers, schedules, and family relationships concurrently.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with both clinical professionals and families.
  • Proficiency with technology, including scheduling software, modern communication platforms, and preferably WellSky.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Chapel Hill / Durham, NC.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW / LCSW) or Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Experience in dementia care or memory care.
  • Background in caregiver recruitment, training, or workforce management.
  • Familiarity with Medicare GUIDE or home care compliance.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Lead caregiver hiring in partnership with the centralized recruiting team, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Drive caregiver retention by reducing 30/60/90-day attrition and fostering a supportive team culture.
  • Conduct training on dementia care standards, client safety, and BlueDot protocols, ensuring essentiALZ certification.
  • Manage caregiver scheduling and coordinate daily with centralized support and the Philippines VA team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for families, addressing updates, concerns, and care changes.
  • Educate memory care communities, neurology offices, and clinical partners about the GUIDE Dementia Program.
  • Build referral relationships to increase GUIDE Program enrollment.
  • Oversee the operations side of the territory's P&L, including staffing costs, schedule utilization, and retention.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to prevent surprises for leadership.

Benefits

  • Base salary: $55,000
  • Total target compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 (includes base salary and performance bonuses)
