About The Position

Home health runs on good people behind the scenes. The nurses and therapists doing the visits depend on someone back at the office keeping things moving — intake coming in clean, schedules covered, phones answered, and nothing falling through the cracks. That's this role. At Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma City, we've been locally owned and part of this community since 1999. Our staff volunteers with Meals on Wheels, we host monthly Veteran-to-Veteran coffees through our hospice program, and we show up for this city the same way we show up for our patients. Requirements

  • Experience in a medical office, home health, or healthcare administrative setting preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear, professional communication — written and verbal
  • Someone who follows through, sweats the details, and doesn't need to be reminded twice
  • Reliable and adaptable — this is a float role, so flexibility is key

Responsibilities

  • Cover scheduling, intake, and front desk depending on where the need is
  • Coordinate patient care between referral sources, clinical staff, and families
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families
  • Manage documentation and scheduling with accuracy and follow-through
  • Support clinical staff to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly
