About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring CNAs and HHAs for one on one home care throughout St Johns County, Jacksonville, and surrounding areas. We work to match caregivers with clients based on your availability, skills, client needs, and reasonable travel distance. Our client schedules change as our agency grows and new clients begin care. Opportunities may include part time work, full time work, weekday shifts, weekend shifts, day and evening shifts, some overnight shifts, four hour minimum shifts, eight hour and twelve hour shifts when available, and overtime opportunities when available. Assisting Hands Home Care is local, family owned agency and we know home care only works when good caregivers feel supported. Requirements

• Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
• Level Two Background Screening
• Recent TB screening
• Classroom CPR certification
• HIV AIDS training
• Alzheimers and Related Dementias training
• Assistance with Self Administration of Medication training
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Caregiving experience
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Bathing dressing grooming and toileting
• Transfers and mobility help
