About The Position
Touchmark at The Ranch is Prescott's leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. We are currently seeking compassionate and hospitality-minded people to join our growing team as full-time and part-time Home Care Caregivers! Our Home Care Services team serve residents of Touchmark at The Ranch and operates out of our beautiful community. This is an incredibly special opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of another person daily, and to build relationships with some amazing people at the same time.
Requirements
- Must hold a current AZ Caregiver Certification
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
- Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
- Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
Nice To Haves
- Med Tech Certification
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with a variety of daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes - activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; general housekeeping and laundry tasks; nutritious meal planning and preparation; accompanying on appointments, grocery shopping, and dog walking to name a few.
- Provide companionship, which may be in the form of reading a book together, going for walks, doing crafts, listening to music together, or just having a simple conversation.
