About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to clients in Saline, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transferring to ensure clients' safety and comfort.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of care and services provided.
