About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring local caregivers to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in Cobb County (Kennesaw, Marietta, and surrounding areas). We focus on providing steady, predictable schedules using 4-hour shifts (mornings, lunchtimes, and late afternoons). This is hands-on, rewarding work where you will visit clients in their homes to help them remain safe and comfortable. We offer competitive pay, on-the-job training, mileage reimbursement, time-and-a-half pay for holiday shifts, employee referral bonuses, and a supportive local office team.

Requirements

• A reliable, insured personal vehicle and a valid Georgia driver’s license
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to get them quickly)
• A negative TB skin test or recent clear chest X-ray
• Must be able to pass a standard criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a CNA, PCA, or family caregiver is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing
• Preparing regular meals and tidying up the kitchen
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing
• Providing mobility assistance and fall prevention
