About The Position
Haven Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to provide essential support to seniors in their homes. Through state or VA-funded programs, eligible seniors receive services that our in-home care aides fulfill. Our aides help clients maintain independence and comfort by assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, light housekeeping, and errands. At Haven Home Care, you'll enjoy your work and your team, making a difference one life at a time.
Requirements
- 12 months unpaid experience or 6 months paid experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
- Ability to lift 50 LBS.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct personal care to clients in the comfort of their home; some tasks include: Preparing/cleaning up after a meal, Bathing/personal care, Basic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting), Laundry, Providing companionship, Running errands.
