About The Position

Haven Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to provide essential support to seniors in their homes, helping them maintain independence and comfort. Through state or VA-funded programs, eligible seniors receive service hours that our in-home care aides fulfill. Aides assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, light housekeeping, and errands. The role emphasizes making a difference in clients' lives and fostering a positive team environment.

Requirements

• 12 months unpaid experience or 6 months paid experience
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to lift 50 LBS
• Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Provides direct personal care to clients in the comfort of their home
• Preparing/cleaning up after a meal
• Bathing/personal care
• Basic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
• Laundry
• Providing companionship
• Running errands
