About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide high-quality care and support to clients in Dearborn, MI. As a Home Care Aide, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to client care.
- Reliable and compassionate with a strong work ethic.
- Must pass background checks.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help clients with mobility and transferring, including the use of assistive devices.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health, behavior, or environment to supervisors.
- Follow all care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain client privacy and confidentiality according to company and legal standards.
