About The Position

CURA of Watkins is seeking compassionate and attentive Home Care Aides to join our Garden View Assisted Living team. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential support and personal care to clients in their homes, promoting their comfort, independence, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe environment, and offering companionship. We have a few opportunities, including: Full-time days: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Part-time Evenings: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (Shift Differential +$2) Part-time Nights: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (Shift Differential +$3) Wage starts at: $17.00 + Experience

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or similar roles is an advantage.
Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Willingness to follow care plans and work independently.
Reliable transportation for travel to client homes.

Nice To Haves

Certification in Home Care or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks including dressing, grooming, and other daily tasks.
Support clients with medication administration as needed.
Help with light housekeeping.
Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to healthcare supervisors.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
Adhere to safety and infection control standards.
