Home Care Aide - Part Time
About The Position
Haven Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to provide essential support with daily living tasks to seniors in their own homes. This part-time role offers flexible schedules and the opportunity to make a real impact in senior care. Eligible seniors receive service hours through state or VA-funded programs, which our in-home care aides fulfill. Aides help clients maintain independence and comfort by assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, errands, and more. Requirements
- 12 months unpaid experience or 6 months paid experience
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to lift 50 LBS
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Provides direct personal care to clients in the comfort of their home
- Preparing/cleaning up after a meal
- Bathing/personal care
- Basic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
- Laundry
- Providing companionship
- Running errands
