About The Position

Right at Home is an International non-medical home care agency that provides care to Seniors wherever they call home! We are hiring care providers who may have the skills and experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board. Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home. We travel to the any of the following areas: Sacramento, West, North and South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland and Davis. The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance. Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and NOC (overnight). Full Time or Part Time hours not guaranteed due to the nature of our industry. Compensation: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour. Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers. No matter the name, what they all have in common is a calling to care for people in the comfort of their own homes. This agency is independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the agency, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this agency. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
  • Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
  • HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment)
  • TB Skin test (can accept completed TB test not older than 90 days)

Responsibilities

  • Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to): Assist with Dressing/Grooming Ambulation/Transfers
  • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
  • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
  • Performs light housekeeping activities
  • Medication reminders
  • Care of bed-bound clients
  • Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts
  • Provide Companionship
