About The Position

Right at Home is an International non-medical home care agency that provides care to Seniors wherever they call home! We are hiring care providers who may have the skills and experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board. Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home. We travel to the any of the following areas: Sacramento, West, North and South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland and Davis.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
• HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment)
• TB Skin test (can accept completed TB test not older than 90 days)

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to): Assist with Dressing/Grooming
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs light housekeeping activities
• Medication reminders
• Care of bed-bound clients
• Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts
• Provide Companionship
