About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aids. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them with daily living activities to improve their quality of life. This position offers meaningful work in a friendly environment located in Scio, MI.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills
- Ability to pass background checks and maintain confidentiality
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare is an asset, but NOT required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with mobility and transferring safely
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer medication reminders and document care provided
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Report any changes in clients’ condition to the care supervisor
