Requirements

  • Passion for working in customer service.
  • Working knowledge of housing rental laws & ordinances.
  • Bookkeeping skills.
  • Enjoy solving problems.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum of three years property management experience required.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the preparation of rental agreements for neighbors and ensures the collection of specified rents.
  • Assists in maintaining occupancy goals as defined by the operating budget and management plan for each Neighborhood.
  • Provides support for the Home Base team in qualifying future neighbors, verifying applications, performing credit investigations, and creating all associated documentation accompanying the rental agreements in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Audits and approves move-in, renewal, and move-out documentation as well as delinquency reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with Prometheus standards and fair housing laws.
  • Assists with eviction of tenants in compliance with court order and directions from attorney and owner.
  • Monitors and directs administrative tasks and ensures accuracy of completion by Home Base Coordinators.
  • Interviews, hires and trains employees; assigns and directs their work; prepares performance appraisals; disciplines and rewards; addresses complaints and resolves problems using sound judgment.
  • Presents a professional, efficient approach to remedy any customer complaints and handle service requests with appropriate documentation and follow-up on a daily basis, to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with on-site personnel in resolving customer complaints.
  • Interacts with various managers in the property management, operations, neighborhood operations, and accounting departments to resolve accounting, legal, and neighbor issues.
  • Suggests changes to existing policies and procedures.
  • Reviews proposed changes to ensure internal controls are not breached and procedures proposed are practical in relationship to their intended objective.
  • Performs additional duties and handles projects as assigned by the Home Base Director.
  • Achieves regular attendance in conformity with standards.
  • Complies fully with all Prometheus Real Estate Group rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the Prometheus Real Estate Group’s facilities.
  • Handles additional tasks as may be assigned from time to time by leadership or others at the leadership’s direction.
  • Travel will be required based upon business needs.
