About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Attendant to join our team in Dexter, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and a high quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is an asset, but NOT required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to client needs
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations is a plus
- Ability to pass background checks
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with light housekeeping and errands
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors
- Adhere to care plans and follow all company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of services provided
